Those battles are sweet! You can also explore towns and cities where you can partake in activities. Most troops I've had in command is about 30 but it can get into the hundreds. Most of the game is played out through a zoomed out map where you chase down bandits/looters/other armies and then engage in the combat that I believe the game is built on. You pick your faction, your background(choices impact your skills) and after a short tutorial you pick your clan name and colors/crest.įrom there you are pretty much cut loose with the instructions of bringing glory to your clan and some other story(spoilers) quests. you start off creating your character through a pretty cool character creation tool.
I have no base of reference from previous mount and blade games so my summary of this game is. Last two nights I've had dreams where I was commanding troops or doing inventory management.
